I added a nice notification bubble which gets shown on our favicon next to our tab in your browser which notifies you with the number of new comments since your last visit. Let me know what you guys think.
For it to you work you need a browser with some decent html5 support, but as far know by far most visitors on this site have that.

Because we still had problems we couldn't fix with sessions, we switched to regular cookies instead. The stay logged in function should work now.
