Props to kcode for a seemingly fun KA. Monday night it seemed for a time that it was buggy, but it's just different from how it used to work. Once you figure out how it works it seems quite nice. ps. I think a major factor in this war was played out by attacking families that didn't change their BG setup and didn't ask around to monday night shooting families about the new ka.

Being in a top family when the version starts at least guarantees you a few hectic days, which is something I personally appreciate, but always seems to result in dying to passive fams.
Being in a smaller fam while waiting for better times may pay off if your family grows and is able to go to several wars, however it can also backfire. Last few versions especially you see cases where these families with a typically reserved play style get shot before they ever got to shoot, and surely no one wants to rank for two months just to get slaughtered.
The way the KA works out now pretty much guarantees almost every top 10 family (before the opening war) is dead before reset. So much for hauling ass.

The only reason Gravano got this far was because all the previous wars their enemies failed to play as a team. Monday night people found out about plans to shoot Gravano, so they got shot at first.
Well played by others, and I'd like to say well played by most families this version. They have shown that the families ranked #21-40+ aren't necessarily a massive waste of space like in previous versions, and almost everyone has shot a significant amount of bullets. If it stays this way there may be a little life left in this game after all.
