Why not keep the "live alliance stats" updated?

Secondly, the state of this 'news' site is quite ridiculous, 'reports' are now at best provocations and are now becoming more opinion rather than fact.
The only regular comments (disregarding annoms) are the same 5-6 brown-nosing each other, when they could quite easily do this on irc since they kinda share the same irc chan and their comments add nothing to ignite any meaningful debate....
So yeah what is the point in this site... why the fuck is it integrated when Fingon was much more objective , yet banned... ?

I don't know what you're expecting from this site, but since this community is a subset of the game community, I wonder where we should get that truckload of motivated reporters from when the game is (to use your own words) on its last legs. Same goes for the comment quality, in comparison to the autism level on Omerta's forum it's a fucking debate club.

In order to fight the massive epidemic of Acute Login Laziness, commonly known as "toolazy", we have made some changes to our login session management. As of now, you should stay logged in on this site forever as long as you click the "Stay logged in" checkbox during login (unless you don't visit for 30 days). IP changes also won't cause you to get logged out, and you can stay logged in from multiple devices.
Oh, and to make it interesting, everyone just got logged out because of this change.
