The long awaited 3.0 has reached the beta stage. After decades of rumors, players compared 3.0 with duke nukem for ever or dawn.

Signing up for the beta is only possible through the online game magazine Thirteen1 (which is another omerta ltd project).

However signing up does not guarantee an invitation: the testers will be selected by the crew.

This also puts another light on the recent scripting debate we've seen lately: the beta-release is likely to be the reason why the crew is focusing their efforts on the new version instead of fighting scripters on the active one, which seems to be mission impossible anyways.

Important to add is that omerta says they are not planning any reset soon.
