Just before the evening, GMX strikes against the second placed family Malvagio, which ignited a long and exhausting night of shooting back and forth with loads of backfire kills. The exact reason is still unclear, but it was more than obvious that Malvagio, the biggest family outside of an alliance, posed a clear and direct threat to any big alliance with enough high ranks, shooting power and experience, to wipe any desired target out if they wanted to.

When the shooting finally started, after almost 2 days of rumors about Malvagio ending up as someone's target, Memento had to endure several backfire losses in the first waves, but Malvagio's high ranks didn't hold out for very long either.
Then it became a game of cat and mouse, with Malvagio trying to counterattack Guardians/Memento/Xzone while being hunted down on a massive scale. Several Chiefs and Local Chiefs succeeded in suiciding on a rank or two higher, but without any real big impact, as the alliance managed to keep all three families standing. Three hours after the shooting had started, Malvagio goes down. It still takes some hours to clear out the remaining targets, but then the job is finally done, and another GMX can sleep peacefully again, at least for now.
