If so, what's the explanation? Is this a change in the new KA, or has it always been like that?
(Oh, and it would be awesome if anyone could find 2 .nl players (old KA) who could spare 40k bullets and some BG money to do the same tests Arcanine did on .com. I'd totally blow you for that.)

Your only argument so far has been 'they might have changed some stuff' blabla. My arguments and proof were solid to say the least.
Anyway, will do the same. Good luck.

I would say they changed it to random guards in order to make it more exciting, or there's a bug that causes defensive guards to die first. doesn't mean the stats were flipped
[16:08] <!KCode> KA is based on straight 1on1 factors
[16:08] <!KCode> at end there is a total
[16:08] <!KCode> and from there it works with the ATT DEF
[16:08] <!KCode> the tweaking part
[16:08] <!KCode> is made on the factors
[16:08] <!KCode> which we will check
clear statement they are tweaking the base factors, not the bg's ^^

Can you also explain me why the 2 bodyguards I lost in backfire were Joe and Ray, who were trained defensively, and not my Vic and Ike..like it always has been?
And why the defender didnt lose his Vic and Ike but also 2 defensive bodyguards?
Bug.
fuerte at 19:00:22 on 20/07:
Someone who has more def will lose their bg's later, so they will have more time to do dmg to the attacker. With 60k shots even defensive bodyguards will die, so it probably isn't the case then. Still not convinced :)

I have no idea what you're trying to say.
I meant that people TESTED this by shooting 20k on brugs who had their backfire set to "The same amount the attacker fires", so they got 20k back.
In that test, the defenders took more damage and dealt more bf damage when they had their BGs def trained.

Also, even if it's not clear if he was talking about the att/def-mixup, KCode said the following yesterday:
[17:51] <NFSA> will the ka have any modification?
...
[17:52] <!KCode> yes, I'm applying an hotfix today
But I guess there's not much point in discussing this any further without an official statement. Really sad that there is none so far.

In English :
- Defense = you defend YOURSELF (if anyone shoot you)
- Attack = you attack AGAINST SOMEONE (when you want to kill someone)
So why I need full attack if I want to have strong backfire? I thought I need strong defense for that.

The attacker’s total attack is compared to the defender’s total defense. This determines the damage done to the defender.
The defender’s total attack is compared to the attacker’s total attack. This determines the damage done to the attacker in backfire.
More specifically: the value of the bullets shot in backfire is modified. While backfire is limited to 60.000 bullets like the initial attempt, the bullets can ‘count’ as more or less as a result of this calculation.
The attacker’s defense value plays no role. Defense is only used when defending.

Meh this is so wrong. Ofc you should be able to have two viable setups when not attacking. Either full defence(very likely to eat bullets and survive) or a certain degree of attack built into the setup, giving you a chance to kill in backfire but risk to die in process.
