Apparently the bugs are not fixed because tonight alot of players have recived 50,000,000 (50 millions) from a player named Rodrigo.
He have also have hitlisted people for over 4 billions per person.
Alot of people have joined #help at irc to get help with this issue, but as usual, there is no help to be found there as the only crew member around is a mere profile checker. It seems the profile checker called the highcommand, as Misshysteria is online now and is removing hitlists.
So the question is, how bugged is this game really? Will we see a rollback tomorrow? Will they close to game to fix these bugs? Time will tell.
UPDATE: This bug is the same bug as the ones in Righelli and Lucchese got akilled for.

I think it's a niche in the market that's pretty low on games, it's a simulation/Strategy game, you build your own criminal empire (simulation part also some strategy involved of course) and take on other empires (strategy).
I haven't seen many games like this and it's pretty much uncomparable to the games you have just mentioned.
If the players heared it from X or Y, doesn't matter.
It matters what the player does with the info.

This is called Leverage. Finally we, as players, might have been able to created enough leverage ourselves that we can force the crew to do something about this ever-lingering problem.

In the last 5-6 versions the Crew has done jackshit about cheating, even when they were pointed clearly in the direction of cheats and cheaters they did nothing. Sometimes you gotta change strategy to get things rolling. You can't always be the nice guys.

Unfortunately, you do not seem to get it, nor did you actually take the time to read my post below carefully.
I do not blame OB for the bugs. It's not like they were the ones that exploited it. But I do blame them for openly telling people how to exploit it.
Don't get me wrong, they were right to tell us that said bug was being exploited, but they should not have shown us how it can be done.

Yeah that "We will report but don't disclose the details" still of reporting and newssharing has been done before. And jackshit was done by the admins back then to close the actual loopholes, they would make cool stories in newsposts ingame, which were only halfbaked truths. Now they will have to close these loopholes as everyone knows about them.

Furthermore, no one disagrees with you that the Admins are incompetent, and dare I say, retarded. They should have closed the game and fixed every bug they could find. It's no surprise that they do not care about the game. It's just their cash cow. Brando himself said in 3.2 if I recall, that Omerta is not their main focus as a company, because they have other projects that brings them more money. So, with lackeys, they got a self-financing system that will keep them afloat for years to come, without the need to actually intervene and do anything, and just keep filling their pockets with money.

I understood it fine, I know you weren't blaming them for the bugs, that wouldn't make any sense whatsoever. But I do think making this info public is putting the right kind of pressure on the crew. It forces them to do something about it, which in this case they sadly failed at yet again. Abuseres all over the place seem to be necessary to get anything done around here.

Tbh if stuff about cheating doesn't get reported on OBN (which it should as it's Omerta News, just like real media should report on real cheating, banks/sports/governments/etc) the admins will only cover it up with a nice story in an ingame newspost.

From the way you are talking I have the feeling you don't want them to hunt down all the cheaters and all the cheats that are out there. Else you wouldn't talk like this.
In my opinion isn't a good thing this got out completely, because now the crew HAS to do something against at least these bugs, and maybe even actively pursue other bugs as well. Instead of their lazy slacking attitude in the last 6 versions orso.
This is called Leverage. Finally we, as players, might have been able to created enough leverage ourselves that we can force the crew to do something about this ever-lingering problem.
You, as a honest player, should embrace this "provocative" Reporting.

Now that it's out there there might actually be some pressure for the Crew to do something about this massive cheatfest. I at least hope they are reading what is said here. Because some stuff that's said here is rather valuable info for them in the hunt for cheaters/cheats.

You are all getting me wrong here , im not saying dont report them , im saying dont tell OTHER people HOW to do it while they are not fixed , how hard is that to understand . There are still people who are playing the game .

I do not blame OB for the bugs. It's not like they were the ones that exploited it. But I do blame them for openly telling people how to exploit it.
Don't get me wrong, they were right to tell us that said bug was being exploited, but they should not have shown us how it can be done.
So, I am not blaming OB per se, I am just pointing out what they did wrong, in my opinion.
Furthermore, no one disagrees with you that the Admins are incompetent, and dare I say, retarded. They should have closed the game and fixed every bug they could find. It's no surprise that they do not care about the game. It's just their cash cow. Brando himself said in 3.2 if I recall, that Omerta is not their main focus as a company, because they have other projects that brings them more money. So, with lackeys, they got a self-financing system that will keep them afloat for years to come, without the need to actually intervene and do anything, and just keep filling their pockets with money.

For those who might wonder why crew gave up on developing the game. That is the game they are launching for xbox. That is why they don't care about what is going on here as long as they sell dc's. Thanks to bug scandal that they might realise that they are still runing a morpg and got respondibility to people who are playing it.
Also telling how the bugs are used to public is also what necessery to be happened and it happened. Now, that some people's priviliges is for all, this either get the game down for good or crew steps up and fix it.
None of those people found out the bugs but abused, still reason to get killed. So they got many people to catch still. Good luck with it
