We all know now that there is some massive bug abusing going on in the omerta world.
People buy 10.000 bullets from the local factory, buy 1337 units of beer to gain 30% rank progress as a swindler, have more then 100 health points and abuse the hitlist bug to gain money there never was.
How should the omerta admins react? i stated a few options below

Not really, I played this game from version 2.0 and I can tell you those versions were only nice because of the amount of players.
3000 or more people were online at any giving time giving the game some dynamic.
A oldschool version with 300 players is gonna be awfull.
You have to look forward, like your first part of your post says:)

then they should start improving every single shit in the game

there has to be something different, and an 'oldschool' version is feels like the best(/only) idea to me :)

Just let them do it for as far it's possible, resetting this damn version will only made the money I spent on dc's get a total waste and all the time I've spend in the past month totally worthless. I'm just a normal dc buyer(I buy 2 dc's every 28 days for dc+ benefits and 1 dc everytime to keep my lackeys running when I'm not online myself, so that's about 30 to 40 euro every month for this game, I could've had a pretty nice night at the pub for that 30 to 40 euro or do nice other stuff).
The players who didn;'t abuse it, like me and my complete family(guess thats why we're still small), have already faced far too many disadvantages either because they didn't wanna abuse bugs or weren't aware of it. Why you ask admins to fuck up everything they've built up in a fair way just because there might be a lot of people who benefit from it without being guilty for abusing(for example when friends abuse and send them cash). Why you want even more disadvantages? I even believe it's easier to find out about most of the abusers that aren't caugh yet than to find out who deserves compensation.
I feel cheated bigtime by admins, devs and fellow players(even friendlies of us) while we worked hard to achieve so little, and everything starts to make sense now. Now I start to understand why it's hard to get members. It akes totally sense players would rather go to a family that's big and pays all of their dc's and a lot of money for bullets than a family that's small, maybe more cozy and a family you've always been loyal to and doesn't get you any free money/dc's

This is about one of the cheesiest games in the internet world. And people cheat to "win" how pathetic is that really.
How about maybe realising:
Admins:
"Fuck, we can't handle this game and this playerbase, lets shut it down and try to save it by doing upgrades and investing some money." or not.
Players:
"Fuck, they keep stealing money from us and wasting our time. Let's stop validating this act and stop playing." or not.
if neither happens, I'm retiring anyway.

Haven't crewmembers already had all days off pretty much since the launch of 3.5? :P And only sporadically worked after the launch of 3.0?
If they are actually working a significant amount of hours per week on the game, say 20+, their productivity is even way worse than that of government officials.
Imo they should work flexable hours instead of a "normal workweek" as the branch they are in requires them to be flexable and always available.

I miss the option:
fix the bug, compensation for fair players and no reset. we spent a lot of money again on dc's and I already feel cheated for being one of the few fair families but I would be pretty dissappointed if there would be a reset now ;)
