Uniting people to protect the planet
Earth hour 2012: Saturday 31st march, 8:30PM

Dare the World to Save the Planet

We only have one planet. You can help protect it. Participate in the world’s largest single campaign for the planet: Earth Hour. It starts by turning off your lights for an hour at 8:30 pm on March 31, 2012 in a collective display of commitment to a better future for the planet. Think what can be achieved when we all come together for a common cause.

Hundreds of millions of people, businesses and governments around the world unite each year to support the largest environmental event in history – Earth Hour.

More than 5,200 cities and towns in 135 countries worldwide switched off their lights for Earth Hour 2011 alone, sending a powerful message for action on climate change. It also ushered in a new era with members going Beyond the Hour to commit to lasting action for the planet. Without a doubt, it’s shown how great things can be achieved when people come together for a common cause.

Are you going to shut down your pc? or switch off the lights?

I calculated that if there would be only 700 million ppl on this planet, we should be safe. Let's bomb "few" continental to save the earth *\o/*

I need my light + don't believe this bs. I pay higher taxes to save this planet (=car, fuel etc.) same time when others are cutting the rain forest, killing animals to extinction and fucking so there will be more and more ppl on this planet even we are too many already. So F it! :)
