I never understood how a mentally retarded american kid could cause so much noise and even rig wars into his favor for his mid account to advance just to die by a pact later. This went on for as long as that guy played.
I still am around Omerta and it seems McGay has disappeared for a couple years now? I can’t even find him trolling here, maybe admins banned him he wasn’t a fan of the community for the most part.
It really has impacted the game I noticed, it’s like people miss old families and their style of play like Lucchese, Gravano, Coccada, Krays etc, but then one man noob like Mcgay and his small gang he’d recruit making serious noise as top losers in the game. I don’t miss women who used to play like a lot of bald aging men in Omerta do, I live by the code of never entertaining house mothers but I sure miss the old days and characters around here. Omertas and Pentitos need more Mcgays, they still about Mcgay in chat all the time after he disappeared its crazy

Omerta was never that great to be honest.
It had a decent online community at it’s peak, but there was many dupes and a lot of scripting before it was legalized. I never understood why so many families ended rounds so fast for the majority of Omerta’s timeline. Not many ambitious people, just farming the years by to win another easy round. Weird if you ask me. How would a version 6 do anyways to improve this game or bring people back, it’s really hard to see it xD
