So the play style will stay the same. Pacting, blooding, shit like that. Using Milestone is impossible at this moment. Cuz after one night war, winner is certain.

One big war, date is known, all posibilities are known, there is no strategy or surprise attack time anymore.
Ppl stop playing because after 1 month hard work, just dying in 1 night and all done. Shitty.

Admins just need to make 2 changes:

- Activate plating protection till Local Chief, and 24 hours later first fam up, protection will gone.

- If a Local Chief kills another Local Chief, you can use milestones and start as Local Chief.
- If a Chief kills another Chief, you can use milestones and start as Chief.

- If a Bruglione kills another Bruglione, you "can ONLY start as Local Chief".
This will make people to shoot at Bruglione/Godfather wars
because otherwise there is no sense to kill enemy since they will rebirth as same rank.

Is not a bad idea, what you think?

Not the worst idea I suppose, but I don't think it is enough. I think this will just result in one big war at GF and the vers will be over after that. Pretty much like this round. Pacting and blooding is still the problem.

Make bloods an ingame option.
Each fam should have a dropdown box where they can select a fam to invite for bloods. If they accept, you are now bloods. So the max would be one blood per fam, while blood chain is impossible.
It should include some serious benefits if the game is won by a fam or two blooding fams, so that would discourage "non-official" bloods.

Add "State of war" button. When fams A and B declare on X and Y, they can only target each other, and members receive 48 hrs plating protection from all outsiders. That will make wars 1 vs 1, 2 vs 1, 1 vs 2 or 2 vs 2. This special plating should make fam members involved in a war 3 times harder to kill by outsiders, or fams not part of the war.

Remove the start plating cuz it sucks and makes the game predictable.

Just an idea. What do you guys think?

So how to get rid of pacting and blooding with pretty much everybody? How to force people into playing for their own family, the top to play for themselves etc.? That require big changes, changes that would make the game quite different from what it is today. What worked 15 years ago with thousands of players doesn’t really work today with only a few hundred active players. And to be fair, there have been so many changes since the good old days that the game is not at all what it used to be so to make more big changes isn’t the end of the world.

So, one thing is to have a members limit on families. That would make more families. E.g. to have families with max 50 members as suggested by Mr. Anonymous. Or perhaps even less, 40 members or even 30. Top would want active members, who can shoot and defend the family, which would make dupes worth less.

But how do you force these families to play for themselves and not just be part of a big pact? One idea that I think is pretty good, even though it changes the fundamentality of the game, is to have an ingame blood and “go to war” option, just like Mr. Anonymously suggested. Gangbanging would not be an option. Blood 80% of the families and have a big pact would be much harder. Then ofc you can chose to go to war with another family but you don’t actually shoot anyone, you just do it to protect both families. But that would weaken the family somehow. Spots close down for a couple of days, local mob would swoop in and rob the members of money or even kill a few of them etc.

And to make families more active and not just sit around waiting and hiding, and to avoid dupe families that can’t do anything, members would, after a certain amount of time of family inactivity, randomly start dying (a-killed) from e.g. car accidents, local mob hits, illness etc. Top 3 and capos would have a higher chance of dying from these deaths. I believe that would make families to take action.

Obviously families can still be “unofficial bloods”. But it wouldn’t be as easy as it is now. With no 10 vs 1 gangbang, no merging into one big fam, etc. And they cannot just sit around playing Sims cuz then they will get a-killed. And with new families around we would get new tops and hopefully they would have a new game style where they try to play for their own family and not for another family.

One big change I would like to see, which will never happen though, is that one would not just rank in rank but also in skill. Depending on the crimes you do you would rank up in skills like shooting, driving, explosives, leadership etc. Each skill would have its advantage and disadvantage. E.g. an account with high driving skills would get extra points when online cuz he can outdrive his opponent but less when offline. An account with high explosives skills would have an advantage when killing offline accounts but have a weakness against another skill(s) etc. Which skills should be around and which advantages, disadvantages and against who and what is something that needs to be put more thought in. But it would be fun and would make the game more tactical. And there would be different families with different strengths depending on which skills they prefer.

I suppose no one read this rant till the end but if you did, feel free to comment what you think. Am I totally mad and this would not change a thing or could this make the game better? Want to go further on these ideas? How could we prevent big pacting? Share with us.

Something like this. But I would go even further. I will write a whole essay about my ideas, just keep reading. :D Just wanted to include these quotes so it doesn't look like I'm stealing the ideas...

So how to get rid of pacting and blooding with pretty much everybody? How to force people into playing for their own family, the top to play for themselves etc.? That require big changes, changes that would make the game quite different from what it is today. What worked 15 years ago with thousands of players doesn’t really work today with only a few hundred active players. And to be fair, there have been so many changes since the good old days that the game is not at all what it used to be so to make more big changes isn’t the end of the world.

So, one thing is to have a members limit on families. That would make more families. E.g. to have families with max 50 members as suggested by Mr. Anonymous. Or perhaps even less, 40 members or even 30. Top would want active members, who can shoot and defend the family, which would make dupes worth less.

But how do you force these families to play for themselves and not just be part of a big pact? One idea that I think is pretty good, even though it changes the fundamentality of the game, is to have an ingame blood and “go to war” option, just like Mr. Anonymously suggested. Gangbanging would not be an option. Blood 80% of the families and have a big pact would be much harder. Then ofc you can chose to go to war with another family but you don’t actually shoot anyone, you just do it to protect both families. But that would weaken the family somehow. Spots close down for a couple of days, local mob would swoop in and rob the members of money or even kill a few of them etc.

And to make families more active and not just sit around waiting and hiding, and to avoid dupe families that can’t do anything, members would, after a certain amount of time of family inactivity, randomly start dying (a-killed) from e.g. car accidents, local mob hits, illness etc. Top 3 and capos would have a higher chance of dying from these deaths. I believe that would make families to take action.

Obviously families can still be “unofficial bloods”. But it wouldn’t be as easy as it is now. With no 10 vs 1 gangbang, no merging into one big fam, etc. And they cannot just sit around playing Sims cuz then they will get a-killed. And with new families around we would get new tops and hopefully they would have a new game style where they try to play for their own family and not for another family.

One big change I would like to see, which will never happen though, is that one would not just rank in rank but also in skill. Depending on the crimes you do you would rank up in skills like shooting, driving, explosives, leadership etc. Each skill would have its advantage and disadvantage. E.g. an account with high driving skills would get extra points when online cuz he can outdrive his opponent but less when offline. An account with high explosives skills would have an advantage when killing offline accounts but have a weakness against another skill(s) etc. Which skills should be around and which advantages, disadvantages and against who and what is something that needs to be put more thought in. But it would be fun and would make the game more tactical. And there would be different families with different strengths depending on which skills they prefer.

I suppose no one read this rant till the end but if you did, feel free to comment what you think. Am I totally mad and this would not change a thing or could this make the game better? Want to go further on these ideas? How could we prevent big pacting? Share with us.

- If a Local Chief kills another Local Chief, you can use milestones and start as Local Chief.

- If a Bruglione kills another Bruglione, you "can ONLY start as Local Chief".
This will make people to shoot at Bruglione/Godfather wars
because otherwise there is no sense to kill enemy since they will rebirth as same rank.

Remove the start plating cuz it sucks and makes the game predictable.

Not a bad idea, actually. It also serves as something to bounce other ideas off of. A starting point to get more creative.
