Now i do agree that people need a scapegoat in general, but hardly ever is it someone that doesnt deserve it. Now in Real life we see this happening thru our media, where they force you too look at something in a certain way. or atleast they try too. And there are many examples of this too. Sometimes good people do get scapegoated.

so ill say that Siberia played last version extreme well and that caused them some general hate and Murderinc. does seem to take the most of it. but judging from replies and the way he treats things he does some to deserve a lot of the shit he is getting aswell.

as it seems he is looking for it alot of the time to be hated and pissed upon almost like he thrives on it, however throwing fits when someone calls him out on this. its a shame really, but i for one wont stop calling him out on his shit. but on the other side ill complement him for his good too.

We do make some minute changes to the bodyguard page. Specifically, collapsing the Bio text by default to save space. Here's the before/after:

Additionally, we have a feature that allows you to get a notification whenever you can continue training a bodyguard (i.e. 60 seconds after you last trained one).

Other than that, there's no interaction with the bodyguards page.

However i still would like an explanation for the Bodyguard pages needing to be accessed

well thnx for the links i certainly dig deeper into it now, but for starters can you explain why OB needs acces to my Bodyguard page, cause as far as i can see it makes no changes to the page. the rest of what i saw OB interacts with in some way except for that page i couldnt explain, hope you can.

Regarding the post being deleted, i gave you the benefit of the doubt before now you are outright lying. I suggest you check thru that changelog for a post made on in general rumours board, at around 16:45 OT, prolly have to look a bit before that rather then after that time.

No such comment was deleted. We have access to a changelog that shows every deleted comment and there wasn't anything resembling this in the last 2 days.

OmertaBeyond is Open Source. That means everyone can read and verify the source code doesn't do anything malicious. We have a lot of developers who aren't actively playing anymore, but still work on OmertaBeyond occasionally (vBm, MrWhite, ...) and would notice any attempt to include any kind of backdoor and shut that down.

Go ahead and read the source code at https://github.com/OmertaBeyond/OBv2 or ask someone who understands JavaScript to do so. If you're really paranoid, disable automatic updates and review every update manually before installing it.

Ok you cant know and havent seen every post that comes accross this board so wont hold it against you that you say no comments about OB have been removed while in fact one has been.

let me explain,

in response to the post that started off this whole debate about site users using IP address of anon posters cross checking them against IRC ips. or whatever the whole deal is with that.

some posted that it is far more logical that OB the script you run ingame actually records your ingame data, and send its back to the creators/admins/devs whatever of said script. A script am more then willing to point out you contributed too.
