They never reset during evenings, mainly because the paid crew members aren't on the clock at that hour.

TBH It's GREAT that they finally reset on a Friday. This is 100x better than when they reset 12OT on tuesday or thursday. It makes it possible to build ur acc on Friday (after work) and during weekend, BIG plus for this!

Yeh, i don't really think it's unfair. If you only lackey starting 4/5/6 hours late doesn't matter that much. If you've got the time to rank, one would assume you've got the time to make an account aswell.

There are canadian, australian, south-american and other rankers too btw, so it's impossible to make a time that everyone's gonna be completely satisfied with.

I said the rerank feature looks like a nice idea, but it's not fixing the bigger underlying problem. The overblooding. Which is making the point of reranking a bit moot. Because only if everybody will bother to rank up again after the first war you get to do a replay (and that's a big if). And it is not even a replay because the surviving side has quite bit of a headstart. But that's probably what you meant with you gotta try harder. That's life. But I find it very nice and Brandoesque how you set up the straw man, "I lost a war, thus there's no need to rerank in general." Which was totaly not what I said. What I said was: "there's no point in reranking against the odds with this massive overblooding happening ingame."

The hillarious part is, that was not even a dig at you or your feature, but at the tops running the game this way for years. And I don't think that is easily fixable from the outside.

It wasn't avoided, I said that we are working on a feature to fix this situation, what I meant in the whole post is that 1 change won't fix it, both are needed AT SAME TIME.

One to make you believe that there's a chance after 1st death, another to make sure your first war was balanced and allowed you to damage back without a 10:1 ratio.

(Rebirth + War system) should even be seen as 1 feature, 50% of it is on DM already, the other 50% will take some extra weeks.

So you guys do plan to implement a war system for v5 then? That's good to hear. I haven't played in a long time now, but I would come back to try out v5 if it had a war system.

New rebirth system could be fun but just a question.

Who says the pact allows you to rerank your fam to bruglione and don't attack your reranks when all are only chief?

Masspacting fams will just take more bloods to make sure they also survive the rerank fams. To think the rebirth system will solve the masspacting boring versions is way too naïve.

Bestias was dominating DM with massive numbers but in the end died quite easily at the hands of a number of rebirths. Anyways, as KCode says, he's working on something to fix pacting. If that works out as planned the game should be balanced again. The rebirth system i can tell from experience is great. I died a page 2 ranker and on my rebirth ranked even harder and got to 1st page, without people massively dieing. I hope the warsystem fix is just as good.
