In a lot of families yes, if your don get's enough hp he get's to hire detectives for free. Very helpful when planning a war. Your don just hires on everyone before you get to gathering people, so you know where everyone is already.
It also doesn't hurt account strength offcourse. Which i suppose is important for a don too. I don't see much wrong with this practice tbh.
