I don't know about you, but I'd rather see them invest their revenue in development and customer service, not some expensive lawsuit with unclear outcome. I think the only companies that were successful with lawsuits like that were giants like Blizzard, and it probably cost them more than Omerta makes in a year.
While I agree that scripts aren't exactly good for the game, I think their impact is relatively limited at the moment and there are probably things that should get a higher priority for now. Besides, it's essentially a solved problem on v5, so it won't be too long till scripts are gone for good on .com as well.
Things like the numerous money exploits that were fixed in the last 1-2 years had far more impact on the game balance, for example, but that seems to be pretty much solved for now (there doesn't appear to be any wide-spread abuse at least.)

About the few brug loses, i was talking about wars between families, not famless sucides, since you don't know your enemies so there is almost nothing you can do about it (that doesn't involve tactics or anything instead of loses during a real war when it's fam against fam and your tactics can decide the amount of losses).

About the few brug loses, i was talking about wars between families, not famless sucides, since you don't know your enemies so there is almost nothing you can do about it (that doesn't involve tactics or anything instead of loses during a real war when it's fam against fam and your tactics can decide the amount of losses).

it's time for the admins to do more about catching cheaters. Yeah the admins are trying to catch dupers which is good.
But there is still a rankscript website active (why haven't the admins taken that down, for example forced by legal action). Because a legal process is to expensive for them? I really would like to see a level playing field for everyone, no advantage for scripters.
Moreover would it be quite simple to try to do something about scripters, like they used to on .nl. Just sent a pm message to players if they want to report themselves in help. If they only do that hours later (while being online all the time) you got a scripter xD. On .nl you get a warning, and second time it's an akill.
And people that say that lackeys are also a script, yes that is true, but the rankscript also busts for you while you are asleep at night or busy during the day (lackeys only bust your own lackeys, they are not bustig other people in jail). And yes people with 100k bo's have done it manually because that is a lot faster, but with a bustscript turned on you can easily get 10-20k bo's without doing anything.
That admins can't detect the use of teamviewer (which makes it possible for multiple people to play on the same account) is very sad, but at least they can try to get the scripters.
While I agree that scripts aren't exactly good for the game, I think their impact is relatively limited at the moment and there are probably things that should get a higher priority for now. Besides, it's essentially a solved problem on v5, so it won't be too long till scripts are gone for good on .com as well.
Things like the numerous money exploits that were fixed in the last 1-2 years had far more impact on the game balance, for example, but that seems to be pretty much solved for now (there doesn't appear to be any wide-spread abuse at least.)
Like i already said i understand a legal process is too expensive (comparing the benefits and the costs), but still measures against scripters that cost no money (only time from admins) like being asked to join #help isn't done on .com (only on .nl and even not every version on .nl). Why not implement that? it's lame people can put a script on when they go to sleep and come back in the morning and have 1-2k bo extra without doing anything (that will also give you rankpoints in the beginning stages of the game)
