if a player you invite from an advert is active and chats on irc etc (therefore unlikely to be a jacker/scripter/dupe) , then its actually an very good idea, maybe Fenrir should do it for his family :D

yeah inviting a famless chief without knowing anything about him, not even the irc name it's a really great idea. dirtyking u can invite my account again when i reach brug and keep 30m on the bank so i can change the fam name
i would say 90% of the real active players already have a fam, to me all the famless r dupes or script accounts, i know that since i've a few famless accounts waiting to suicide ^_^

They made this settings because of worst families ever like liberta and janny who blooded half omerta and have 22222 asone , and if all those 22222 fams can save up capo money you will get over 50 GFs . So when tops from families start to play like a real life story , then prolly admins will admit things like in RL .
