Instead of announcing stupid/meaningless updates the crew should tell the players if there will be a reset or the version will continue for some more months simply because it's open, the game can't continue like it is now.

When we think about a winner we must think about what such had impact on the gameplay of the version. I see many people mentioning some "sidekick" families and proclaiming they are winners. Other mentions a group of families as winners.
To conclude a family as a winner one has to follow the gameplay closely and see which family can be announced winner. This version was not you're regular version where a group of families which can be called pact or anti pact to proclaim as winners.
The measurement of a winner is calculated about what kind of impact they made to make such a family a winner. I mean people say you can't say that a dead family is the winner which is entirely untrue. Some of the dead families paved a road for other families which did not do anything to proclaim as winner. See that is unfair. Everyone can stay out of all fights or shoot already empty/broken families and claim that they won. See Pentagram they have their hall of fame record but ask anyone are they winners? I bet you will answer for yourself that they were not the real winners of that version.
Other families that are still alive at the moment say we are winners mainly because they managed to kill reranking families or families that are empty. This is not the way. The way to see if a family wins is to see if they made such a impact that practically managed to kill such a fam that they even would be scared of you once the reset comes.
Ill give a simple example, Ive seen some say Campania or Vittoria as winners, ofcourse you can claim that they are one of the few that are still standing atm. But did they create such a impact alone that changed the gameplay entirely? Even for future versions? I mean lets say this we reset the version and Campania on their own face for example Gravano. Gravano in general will slaughter Campania with ease which means all the achievements that Campania reached this version as "winner" will be drained as easy as one claimed that they are winners.
Plus they are simply one of the fams that helped other families achieve their goal so in reality they did not win their own batle but they helped another family win the battle thus in reality they won something for someone else.
Next step is for example Vittoria can claim the version mainly because they shot on their own and killed some starting families which is understandable and thus they can claim we killed this much etc. Same thing Adolf did when Pentagram shot many reranking and damaged families. But think about it, did it change the gameplay in general even that they are feared upon in the future? In reality in the future after a reset such a family will be seen as a zip that needs to be squeezed rather than a family which should have full focus in order to claim winner of a version.
There were few fams that had many leading rolls this version. This included of course the Gravano side vs the Lucchese side. As these sidekick families that claim they won the version were fighting battles for the these families mentioned above.

Please don't compare vitoria to Adolf kanka.
Vittoria jumped for their bloods and shot quite a lot given their size. They are not an 80 Brug+ family.
Adolf Kanka just waited till the good fams (including fams who were dumb enough to blood him) were empty and/or down and shot the remains (at least he just shot the fams not blooded to him at that moment). And then he started to play Turks United and blooded/as1/whatever every Turkish family he could find. And some other scared as shit fams, and his pentagram noobs were #1 fam in terms of value by far. Every reranking fam, no matter if they were previously blooded to him or not, got shot. Including reranking Messina/Gravano. Ask Profestum what he thought of that.
Of course Adolf Kanka came apologizing then to those "bloods", and after reset it was payback time and he got what he deserved from those "bloods".
Now really, how can you compare Adolf Kanka to Vittoria.

version over allready, half of the current fam are...dunno wtf they are (= every time when reset is near we can see these "I wanna make a fam with bs name" coming up), half more or less old fams but only few of them has really done something (except died few times)

You can't crown a single fam on their own right now, you always have to include the fams who jumped in in dire need, without these the winner would be someone different.
It doesn't matters who will go into the hall of fame as winner, because you can't win alone.

fidelitas winning this version is a joke ? how come ? they're up since the beginning of this version. most of the time they were top 10 fam. if you check sow you will see that they have been involved in most of the big wars.

for me it's absolutely hilarious when i think that tops from fidel vittor and campan maybe are reading comments that they aren't the winners of version and lucch is the winner probably they think wtf... :D.

Lucchese showed their power in this game once more. Showed that they are able to use other fams resources to kill their enemies in the name of Lucchese while their fam is not around. They are able to let LEVI/PROV as the dominant fams who are behind of plans but gain more control on the game while they are watchers.

But call fidelitas, vittoria, campania kind of fams as winner is just epical JOKE. Because if there was no LS and their side the others who i mentioned before could not even survive few days.

check "No sushi for Fidelitas tonight!" war bro. if that didnt happen, you wouldn't see Luchesse around cuz Gravano co. would gain full control on Blacksea & Ascension side. fidelitas & vittoria was so active when gravano side was up.

There is no 1 single winner, some of you have said Fidelitas or Vittoria or Umbrella today, for ur own various reasons. If 'The Final Stand!' war never took place, Ascension/Signoria would be in a position too strong that you guys could not debate a different families for winner, like to Pentagram a few versions ago. Nobody would be happy with that, but you can't argue with it because of how large they were at the end.
This version is won by the families who rallied together and shot those 2 large families down. They stayed alive and pooled all of their resources together in order to take this family down and open the version back up, since there is no such thing as opening the version back up and people reranking.
Crowning 1 single family as winner would be very difficult for this one. :P

i think winner of version is lucchesse because they have controlled the game even if the fam was dead

Instead of announcing stupid/meaningless updates the crew should tell the players if there will be a reset or the version will continue for some more months simply because it's open, the game can't continue like it is now.
Dear all,
The majority was not in favour for a reset so the ROM has been reset and will run for 2 weeks now. If you do not want the game to reset, just vote NO.
On the Dutch version of Omerta quite a few players was not pleased with the Friday resets. What do you think? What would the best day to reset the game in the future?

Not that hard to understand.
Last time when they check the vote, the majority voted no.
Reset-O-Meter will be checked again 2 weeks later.
So this weekend they will check the ROM again. And announce the reset. Assuming the vote will be still in favour of a reset then.
