What counts for me is the fact that this game has bugs makes another person greedy. Whois to blame the persons that became greedy or the company behind the game that could fix it from our dc's?

Of course it is possible you didn't know about the abuses going on but you have to acknowledge that the most likely scenario is that fellow tops of the abuser would have, at least some idea, that something was going on and you cant blame people for reaching that conclusion. It sounds strange to me that you would hide what you were up to from your own tops. If that was the case sounds like there was a serious trust issue inside your top which jeopardised the family you were all working for (downed the fam) and people should be rightfully angry. I can at least say that if someone is cheating in Levi - all Levi tops are gonna know about it.

For the version to be completely open we need to see Marazzino or Tattaglia falling, it would be awesome to see Marazzino vs Tattaglia, is that possible?

He pasted his wins and losses in the Top channel all day long. Who knows, maybe he made them up, I dont know. But what I was seeing appeared legit at the time.

Sensje i have to agree with red on this. If you are a top and your fellow top procures 100's of millions out of thin air you must at the very least KNOW something is up. And it is exactly that kind of attitude that has always been a problem in this game, many tops knowingly and willingly love to turn a blind eye to cheaters if they think it is in their advantage.

Why do you think this bug was around for so long? Because only a handful of people knew about it. Once too many people find out about it, it will be too widely abused and eventually become "public".

Cmon, your not an idiot, so please dont assume Im one either. When have I ever been proven to be a liar in this game? Ask anyone and they will tell you I always speak the truth. Simply because we are in the same Top doesnt mean they share their exploits with me.

More people cheat in this game then either you or I even realize. Whether its mass duping, scripting or bug abusing. Cheating in this game is rampant! I can guarantee you that some of the very same people you play with claim to be honest players but actually cheat like crazy behind your back!

Through my years in Omerta I have met players that I found to be honorable, stand-up people. Only to find out one or two versions later that they were cheaters. Everyone plays a game here whether it be some dude pretending to be a hot chick or some dirty cheater pretending to be a great player.

You can think what you want about me, I dont care. And of course, you have no way of knowing if Im telling the truth or not. However, why would I sit here and admit the bug was used but deny knowing it existed? What does that get me? Nothing. Yes, some of our Top abused a bug. As honest as I am in that statement, this one is equally honest: Just as many people in our Top was very angry the bug was used, and didnt know the bug was used as there were people in our Top who were using it. Just goes to show, not all of us knew.

And as far as the hundreds of millions that were being spread around, we won a TON of money with our casino's. Italien also won hundreds of millions on poker. So most of it appeared to be legitimate at the time.

Dumb? Ouch, that hurts Redspeert. Let me give you an example of why I didnt realize what was happening:

During the 11-01 war, my account died very early (2nd wave I think). I immediately started a new account. Since I was going to be online for several more hours, and it looked very grim for us, I told everyone to send me the family cash they had (Family Bank, Casino's, etc) so I could fund the shooters throughout the war.

Simply collecting the Family Bank and Casino's, I had 700m. None of that money came from any of the bug abusers. Most of it came from the accounts that are still alive today, our object holders. So when I knew for a fact that our casino's made a ton of money, along with other Tops gambling and winning a ton of money, why would I suspect anything?

Dumb? lol now i feel numb when you all read and type things just to point 1 fingers..Gees Go point them to the game, no updates, no cash spend to improve it???

Well, you gotta be pretty dumb if you don't notice something is weird when your fellow tops send out houndred of mil's that is not coming from objects.

Well, the way I see it, the biggest question is, which is the bigger minority admins or honest players.

In all fairness, whoever has played clean thus far and has not made up his mind about retiring or will not start cheating themselves, well I guess those will keep on playing no matter what.

This crew has proven their incompetence to deal with cheaters over and over and over again. And yes, it's usually the same bunch of families that get to know those bugs and milk them.

Personally, I never used it. Didnt even know about it until yesterday. And so far this version has had a ton of "red" wars and a huge scandal, and you consider that boring? Dont let the hate cloud your judgement.

Using the word boring for this version its totally off , i think this is being one of the most fun versions i have played honestly.

I can see why its been an exciting version for you with all the bug abuse in your family :p

Not that hard to cause some excitement with unlimited money and bullet resources.

I do not approve of Messina's mass blooding, nor did I of Liberta's last version (prior to Pentas list getting out of control). However there were certain things to note.

#1 They were not my family, what to do is their business.
#2 They were good bloods to me, that were there when I needed them.

I think it's more of an issue of families that wish to blood big families and don't care the slightest about the bloods web they already set up at the version start. Kinda asking to be used. Back in the day people just refused bloods, now it seems some people don't see the point in that anymore. It doesn't change that much imho. At the end of last version most fams were somehow associated to each other and you still had the battle for blacksea. This version Messina was constantly under fire, last version the same goes for Liberta.

Sometimes adding more bloods makes you a bigger target, while most of the 6-12th bloods will never jump and risk their necks for you.
