Lackeys are good but they need to change a few things:

I don't say that it has to change NOW but at the start from a new version. With lackeys everyone got enough money so why dont change the prices? The economy ingame isn't balanced atm
And about the ranking slower part: People won't quit with lackeys but at this moment it goes way to fast. Everyone is Brug it's nothing special anymore... And don't forget that is hard to organise a war when you have 150+ chief target's.

Yesterday i thought up smth brilliant: remove backfire twice and introduce backfire 1.5x.
Example: shooting 20k will hit back max 30k. 25k shooting will hitback max 37.5k

Nope. They've made their deal with them. Kurosawa that is. Problem is, they are not considered to be very trustworth and were/are too happy to sell out Maraz. So pact is not really sure what to make of them, yet and will dispose of them sooner or later.

That is to say reimplementing KS, making a family limit of 36 fams, adjusting online vs offline value of accounts, and making lackeys such an integral part of the game. There is so much money/bullets in the game now as a result of lackeys and sluggs that there is no difference between good players and bad players, the game becomes even more about pure numbers than strategy or teamwork, any one who cares to can have 1mil bullets.
The dumbest decision admins made by far was the family limit, but also adding the other three major changes at the same time made adjustment by the players difficult. I can tell you one thing its not the tops fault. Not this version. This version is fucked solely because there is no room to maneuver for families that don't have major numbers (i.e. not top 5 families)... no one can risk sticking their neck out. Really disappointed in Brando and crew.

One of my chief complaints is certainly lackeys (particularly sluggs). But to answer your "why would more families make the game better" remark I would say consider this. One of the reasons we had more wars last version than this version is because with 100 families, the sides were not so cut and dry. One could hit at the outer edges, to weaken an alliance indirectly. Kind of a Cold War of sorts, with sphere's of influence. Via proxy wars, families could strengthen or weaken their standing. It also meant that there were Alliances within larger alliances, which gives a whole other war dimension, more diversity means more excitement... There's no such thing as a proxy wars with 36 families. It's why wars are overkills. One side picks another side and dismantles it. Tertiary families can't get involved because the sides are already blatantly clear... and because there are no tertiary families.
Additionally, with a 36 family limit, those families who get eliminated have a much more difficult time becoming relevant again... which further reduces opposition to dominating families. The way this version is set up, with kill based KS, ridiculously Lackey income, and sluggs, the first big Alliance that made a move was destined to be the winners. I'm a fan of the (soon-to-be) winners, not a fan of the version. I'm actually pretty drunk atm and rambling so everything i just said can probably be ignored. gnight
