With Evils complaining when reset was announced: "There are sooo many wars to be fought" - for which conflict had how many months? :')
Even members of the few major fams, that were still up then had retired out of boredom.
Nah, I give 3.1 a decent rating. Despite all their asslicking and backstabbing, Nazdro at least managed to win that version convincingly. And it was by far not that boring to watch.
Srsly grow a pair and finally use your position and make some plays/wars. And no, I don't think the conflict tactic, to bore down families till 30% of their member retire and then shoot it with other fams is great strategical play, it's hugging.
