I'll tell you what will eventually happen if they go with this city war system. Only the families with a large player base will benefit from this, while small families start to disappear the big fams will start getting bigger.
Eventually game will be played with max 10-15 families. Pacting will offcourse wont dissapear, 3 4 big fams will join and get spots on each others cities just so they can counter/help if necessary, 1v1 idea will never work and it will actually be the end of the game.

I completely disagree. We've seen this version that a few strong accounts can take down an entire family. Impact got their entire fam destroyed by 1 GF and 1 Decina. Small families will actually be able to put up a fight against larger fams now, even warring them by themselves if they so wish.
We don't even know the specifics of the new war system they're working on, but I think it'll help out a lot.

Because who gives a shit at this point? People either take this game too seriously or don't care at all. Your account is going to be useless in a week anyway so why not have some fun and grab a chance at either opening up the version and prevent a reset or just winning it with just your fam.

Get real, nobody would ever be able to rerank and make a difference. It's simply not possible, because Faffie+ have no enemies atm., so they can control the situation totally. If there were a few more sides up now, then Faffie+ lose members while people reranked and it would even out the situation. That's not the case now.

Not the point. The point is to protect the people re-ranking so a brug looking for the 2 KS doesn't kill you as soon as you promote to LC. There needs to be a little more incentive and easier ways to survive once you re-birth. Easiest in my mind being to hide who's online and what rank they are. Sure you can hunt for KS targets, but do it manually by browsing through account names instead of just clicking through each page of LCs/Chiefs/Brugs to see who is fam less or not.
