Of course. Brando claims that less players join after a reset and he hates doing them. Unfortunately, the long wait in between versions seems to turn off players as well. This version is obviously stale, but they will truck along for a bit longer. I mean, people are sitting around with 100k+ crimes at the moment. Families have been shot and came back 3 or 4 times, etc. Others are "retired" but just waiting to start plugging away again. This shootout + minor clean up will be the end of the version. Lackey 2.0 will either launch with it or not; they have no problems with major tweaks in the middle of .com.

This is how wars have to be fought to insure success. Each shot is $~30-60 million worth of bullets and possibly up to $30 million dollars worth of bodyguard rebuys just to shoot again. To top it off, offline > online + lackey's make it a bitch to organize enough shooters to get the job done compared to before. Bummer I know, but that is what they are going for. If they would have put the 300% cap on this round for sure, the game owners might have had a chance at keeping this version going even longer than it has.
CD's seemed to give everyone enough of an edge to help what's going on in this version with multiple families. Plus spot benefits help as well.
I'm not trying to figure out where they should go with the game, just giving my $.02. I find it difficult to believe that I am still playing.
