think biggst thing that screwed up servers yesterday was war on 2 versions had a big war dm 20 fams shot and .com had a huge war with like 30 fams involved tbh I think this caused to much stress for the servers :p

Is the winner the fam who did the best during the version? (this is the one where everyone gets to disagree on the winner)

Imo there havent been really much winners since the 3.0 versions,
Being #1 is for sure not the winner in my eyes, it can just mean you shot less then the other families or had less suicides in wars you were in....
Having most wars isn't always a winner either, since imo it sucks if you had 30/40 wars but in all those wars you had like 10/20 fams to back you up, doesn't make you a winner either if you can't play on your own ( though I gotta admit the KA there was in last few versions kinda forced fams to make bigger groups but come on really need 15 families to shoot a family with maybe 1/10th of those families? haha)
Imo if you look @ how the game is played right now you would define the winner as the family that had most impact in the game, did alot of wars, got shot alot, played smart and strategicly, even if that means that they are down @ the end of the version, not being up doesn't mean you didn't do anything.
though I think alot of people would contradict me on that since they think a family that is down can't be a winner haha

If you are talking about those 2.7 versions (there were 2 iirc) and you want to glorify them, please bear in mind that I had a shitload of high ranked scripted accounts myself, specifically in those 2 versions. Including a bunch of them in other families. On top of that there was a way to hijack the session of players and do fun stuff like turning off their BF. Think I hijacked yama like 5 times that round as well as vinci.
Just saying that you have to see those rounds in a very specific context before drawing conclusions, but then again, 100's of other players were on the fignon script as well.

lol, we simply adapted to the .com standards ... besides there's not much difference in the bloods circle from the list Invocandi had in 3.1 and we heard no one complain back then when they got shot in the end by Nazdrovia and bloods.

ofcourse people will bash instead of taking each other on all top families blooded each other where is the fun in that, you can almost already say this version will end if a couple of fams dont react,
and the fams left htat can react we all know they dont do much and even if they do I bet this isn't the entire list yet so rip this version xD

I'm pretty cool with the idea that I sent 2 txt messages that got me to brug, with bullets and everything trained to the max - without having to worry about adminkills and whatnot. While it didn't took more than a few hours of my time over the course of 2 weeks. Value for money I'd call that. On top of that I can continue with legal scripting for free the rest of the version, as all it takes is buy a DC from the auction house with money the script made for you.
My point being: I gladly accept that they fuck up now and then when in return I get quite a lot and peace of mind (if you script illegally you often hand out your password, you risk adminkills, etc ...) for hardly any money.
Provided this is a one time fluke and it's not going to be a recurring issue, I don't think it's that big of a deal.

This exactly. After that hack and they didn't do something like a rollback I've lost hope that this game will ever get back on its feet again with Brando / Omerta Game Ltd. running the show. The only way it could get better again if it was sold to a person or group of (ex-)players or hobbyists with a heart for the game and they completely rewrite every aspect of it.
Unfortunately, lackeys make too much money at the moment and thus Brando will probably ask a lot of money when someone wants to buy Omerta. Wrongly I think, because this uprising of their income won't last forever thanks to lackeys making the game less fun.

The only way Omerta Crew would change their minds if we all stop buying DCs completely. But since the #wesaidnotosluggs days, nothing really happened on that matter, and if we weren't able to put a 'strike' then, we won't be able to do it in the future :) It is pointless when people lose money and it can't be refunded by the game itself. A lot of money is getting on the omerta account, but they are not investing enough in the developers so they are testing things 'by the way', only damaging the players that way. But we are addicted, so we accept anything they give to us. As same as last version when that guy hacked accounts and DELETED money, they couldn't help it :) Complete database does not need a reconstruction, it needs to be rebuild from the ashes...

if you gonna rewrite all omerta's bad coding you might aswell start your own maffia game, since most of the sript is as oldas the game lol ._. most bugs that are found now have been there for ages
