In a competitive community, it simply doesn't work. What stops me from hitting up a Turk player, asking him to buy me 20DCs at $15, when I need to pay about $60 for that? What stops Turk players to make real life money off of DCs then? They buy them for $1.5 and sell for $2.5, still cheaper than the $3.5 the rest of us are paying.
The dot.com thing absolutely flies, since it is considered as 1 region. You will never find different pricing for the same server on any competitive based games.

Luckily it's not the way the world works. Services like Deezer, Netflix, Spotify, Microsoft, Adobe and so on all adjust their prices to the local market. But yeah, it seems to be the way admins see it. This raise makes a dc less accessible for a part of the player base. So global companies have different prices for.their products? If the country is not the origin country, the product can only be more expensive. E-companies do not have different prices forntheir games, game credits, etc. Wow costs the same to play wherever you are.

If you would like to have a global game or company or any shit, you have to take those circumstances into considaration.

In a competitive community, it simply doesn't work. What stops me from hitting up a Turk player, asking him to buy me 20DCs at $15, when I need to pay about $60 for that? What stops Turk players to make real life money off of DCs then? They buy them for $1.5 and sell for $2.5, still cheaper than the $3.5 the rest of us are paying.
The dot.com thing absolutely flies, since it is considered as 1 region. You will never find different pricing for the same server on any competitive based games.

If it wasn't the same, why wouldn't we just pay some Turks to buy us DCs for an 8th of the actual price? It's called a fair market with economic goods (admittedly, no opportunity cost on these babies, but the definition still serves the purpose - goods that have benefits to society (the community in this case)). Making those goods more easily accessible to some is not really fair. The version is DOT.COM and it needs to be treated as a single economy. They should lower the price for it for DOT.TR if they have any sense of decency, or just decrease the price for DOT.COM as well since the majority of players are Turk. Any other solution would result in an unfair system.

In any case, decentralization is a prerogative as plenty of comments say so and I agree with it.
