Remove HPs gotta be prio #1 of things that might actually happen. Or keep them but make them pointless. There are things that should have higher priority but will never happen anyway, like new unbiased admins as mentioned by Nier.

Another big change I would like to see to make the game more about strategy and skill rather than the "masspacting/pay most win" as it is now, is to introduce different skills that can be ranked up. The skills would have both pros and cons. Too big of a change tho so will never happen.

And obviously somehow get rid of the possibilites to masspact and have 1vs1 wars but dunno how to do that in a good way tho.

I agree on most you wrote but on the quoted part I think you might be wrong. People will remember how the GF died from a Chief and how the successor, a Brug, died from a LC without even shooting back.

Sucks big time indeed the early wars. It is not enjoyable at all.

I guess one reason is that Detroit gives a great advantage. Most of the time it is a Detroit family that get shot in the first, early shootout. To let a family have poker-, bank-, narcspot etc. in Detroit for a couple of weeks or so, until people are brugs, gives them way to much money. Better shoot before they gain too much advantage from the spots.

I know changes were made this round to make people travel more. It has obviously helped but Detroit is still the place to be.

Too much money, thus too much bullets, in the game. Should not be possible to have nearly 500k bullets before you reach chief.

HOF doesn't help. Remove that shit. Or start to hand out pus*sy stars instead of golden stars if families win in a shitty way.

Prepare for a long unncecessary rant. But just to clear a few things up and give the hated people a positive cheer I will tell the whole story how the family came to be. :)

I had no family to play for this version and had a really shitty account. I bought a spot for myself and named it Merciless just for the fun of it, never meant to be serous. Why Merciless? Well it was the first family I played with after my long break, also the only family so far that has felt like "my family". I did not expect to survive many hours. I thought Pentagram or someone else who do not like the name Merciless very much would kill me right away. But no one shot me dead. A few people join in the following days, low ranks.

McGee asked if he could get an invite, so I invited him. I did not know him from before, except from OMB/ingame forums where he is a known troller, but he came on irc and we got to talk. He turned out to be a really nice guy. After a while he asked if I wanted to make a real family (as real it can be this late into the version) with no cheating and pacting. I hesitated a little at first. What really could we bring to the table, who would join etc. But why the heck not I thought and said sure.

After some discuassions McGee brought Raja into the discuassion. I did not know Raja from before. Only been reading his articles and comments here. Got to know him a little during our brief time playing together and he seems to be a nice guy. We spoke to Raja about the whole thing and he came on board.

The name was changed to Relentless because it was not Merciless, e.g. no tops from Merci were in the family. It turs out Relentless is an old .nl family but we did not know that at the time.

I have no experience of running a family or being top so Raja was made Don. Both Raja and McGee have some contacts in the game and a few people joined us, among them re-ranks from Natarelli and other dead families. Tao was one of them, also a guy I did not know from before but got to know a little and also he seems to be a nice guy (you see the pattern here, I don't know many people in the game :P). Tao joined as a top from Natarelli to have someone represent them, to get more experience and someone who know people.

Over the following days a few people asked if they could join. Mostly low ranks or re-rankers. Some I guess chose us randomly, others said they wanted to join because they want a small friendly family or a non-pact family.

So that's how the family came to be. It was McGees idea from the start. Blame him. :)

I belive most people enjoyed the brief stay in the family. There were nice discuassions in the members channel. I never saw a fight even tho there were talks about everything from politics to sports to Omerta history to real life jobs etc. Disagreements but not angry swearing or personal attacks. It was nice to see. And we shared the same value. Don't want to be part of a big pact. Rather play for ourselves.

I do not belive in blooding. It ruins the game. Every family should play for themselves. Obviously you can't do everything yourself but if you help someone out it should benefit your own family. You should not help just cuz you are bloods.

It is not possible to like every person you meet. There are people playing the game I do not like but I try to avoid them as much as possible. So I can understand there are people out there who do not like everyone in Relentless. What I do not understand tho is the hate. But it is the internet after all. If it was out in the real world I guess people would be more "human-like" toward each other. Personally I found everyone in the family to be nice people and there were respect towards each other.

So was this a real family? Well it depends what you mean with "real family". It was real in the sence that we had all the elements of a real family. But did we expect to win or be a big chess piece in this round of the game? No, we are not stupid. It was mostly re-ranks and a few quite weak original accounts getting together for fun. Obviously tho, we had hoped to do more damage than the none we did now.

We were asking around before the slaughter but I guess logs were leaked since almost everyone shot us? Shit happens.

A funny thing is that half an hour or perhaps a little less before the shooting started I got a pm from a top in one of the attacking families telling me that we are going to get shot. Well he did not use those words but that was the message. Hired then but it was too late to do any damage.

No regrets.

Dunno if I will play again since I think the game is so shit now. But who knows, if you see a lonesome rider in some future version go up alone with some noob family feel free to say hi. Big chance it is me. :P

Aeterna need the Shield spots to start the clock and have a chance to win. That means Aeterna either have to shoot Shields to get them or Shields give them to Aeterna.

Shield can wait to get shot which is quite shite. Be account hugging pussies and give the spots to Aeterna. Or strike first and do some damage to Aeterna.

The pussy talk comes from previous versions where Shield has had a tendency to hide and not shoot.

If we are to belive the rumors here the following families play together:

Anarchy, Winterhill, Occultum, Horde, Gravano, Exception and probably a few more.

The six strongest families.

At the moment there are 200 chiefs, 115 of them play in one of the pact fams. 656 LC at the moment, 349 of them play with the pact. So the pact has at least 57,5% of Chiefs and 53% of LCs.

I dunno if there is another pact but it doesnt really matter if there is cuz even if all the other families would go togheter they are still outnumbered.

I really hope nobody wasted a lot of money on dcs this round.

Well he is not wrong. Although you can not really blame Siberia, why wouldnt they use other fams to shoot for them? Who are to blame, if anyone are to be blamed, are the fams who actually shoot for them and have no ambitons for themselves. That's very strange in my opinion.

Someone wrote here Siberia are bloods with both Imperium and Liberta, second and third strongest fams this round. If I played for either of these fams I would be really dissapointed with the tops. By blooding Siberia they show no ambition and balls to win, instead they just want to stay alive as long as possible.

You see McGee, you have the peasants support, time for you to make OMB great again. No pressure mate. :P

I think you should at least think about it. You have been around for a long time and seems to know your shit. Plus you know how to use proper English and your texts are often quite funny. Go for it mate! :)

Nothing changed, they have always been good shooters as long as I have played. And this round we are a few Merciless people there for some extra strength.
