Because of the fam limits, few fams who jumped above their abilities, have been brought down (by killing 1-2 LC's). And some were naive enough to consider killing 1-2 LC as wars ;)
Now the problem is, established fams have oportunity to have established bloods. And even if the families, that not yet exist on a map, have the same amount of core rankers, they do not have newjoiners and guests, so the non standing fams are no more able to bring anything down.
So what they all will be waiting for, is a non-related war. The only chance for them to start will be a war between already standing families.
And if the families already exist, war between them will have the same reasons as wars had before - it won't be family limits.
However, family limits will be a big demotivating factor for someone to go in the war, as nobody will want to get weakened and become a target for space.
So...gj admins, you did not change any action side of the game, but you also denied possibility for small fams to exist and enjoy their game.
You declare democracy, but you keep the game within selected few. Boring!
