Just 2 days after families started to appear, the first war erupts. And of course, not a small one either.
To prevent a lock down from the same families that did so the previous two versions, Affinitas (Liberta and Gravano), Nazdrovia, Atrocita, Entropia, Sephora and Natarelli grouped up to take on Conflict, Innocent and Nuevitas. With lots of offline people, the defenders were no match for the impressive first waves, although Nazdrovia & Co suffered various backfire kills amongst their high ranks.
During the first few kills of this first wave, it turned out that some shooters in Natarelli had not set detectives on their agreed target, Nuevitas, but on Sephora, who was shooting at NLS with them. This was because of a previous war between the two on .tr. Just after the various families opened fire on 'Conflict & Co', the Natarelli shooters went loose on Sephora.
Conflict went down first, minutes later followed by Sephora. An hour into the war, Innocent also falls. Another hour and 20 minutes later, Inzerillo, who had jumped into this war for their bloods goes down as well, making the whole world of Omerta realize this is probably one of the slowest big wars we've seen in the last couple of versions.
While the sun is already rising on the European continent, the war still goes on slowly. Every now and then, a higher ranked dies here and there, but it didn't get interesting again until Reazione kicked into high gear to jump to their bloods' (Conflict and Inzerillo) aid. Their Don Envision managed to kill Liberta's Don Trenzo while other shooters took on the rest of Liberta's Local Chiefs, in an attempt to bring the family down. They failed at that moment, but it did leave the Affinitas family severely weakened.
Nuevitas, the only family of NLS to have started so far, was not so lucky to survive attacks after attack. More than 3 hours since they were first hit, their last Local Chief Demented was taken out, after 2 failed attempts, and the New York family fell.
Reazione, with no successors left, finally goes down as well, when Envision first loses his last remaining bullets in killing a Swindler in backfire, and then is simply executed without the chance of backfire damage, making it the sixth family of the night to die.
With the war over for now, it's still uncertain how this will all play out, with many players dead, even more bullets shot, and the majority of the remaining big families weakened to the core.

The target families were divided as following;
Atrocita(Gelibolu/Edguoyu) + Nazdrovia <-> InnocentRIP
Affinitas (Liberta & Gravano) <-> ConflictRIP
Marrazino + SephoraRIP + Natarelli <-> Nuevitas (NLS)RIP
InzerilloRIP and ReazioneRIP came into the war later on, joining Innocent/Conflict/Nuevitas.

But as you know we were gonna shoot with affi but some b00ns from .tr server shot us from Natarelli. That's really pathetic.. We pwned them on there, so they shot us while we were gonna shoot with them. !funny..

Raro (Nuevitas (NLS) top): As suspected we were attacked. We began much stronger than our own expectations, but this even wasn't enough against such a massive force.
One can call the attackers pussypact or whatever, it's just tactics imo, and as seen from the damage encountered by the attacking side, they needed the massive force to take all fams down. So we won't go whining bout this or that and accept our loss this time.
Gratz to the shooters. RIP to all that died.

Then Vc told Envision we weren't a target, and that even if we would go and shoot for Conflict, we couldn't do damage anyways. So our minds were made up easy, and we set detectives on Liberta. RIP to both sides, we'll be back.
