Welcome to a new round of Omerta!
First of all, we want to wish you good luck in this new and challenging round of Omerta.
As we have announced, there are major changes regarding the plating system. From now on, plating protection will be measured in percentage, and will be directly linked with what you do in the game.
Plating Factors
Your Plating level is directly related with your ingame activity (crimes, group crimes, races, accommodations, etc).
Leaving a family (or getting kicked) will reduce your plating to Very Low; after rejoining a family you will gradually get it back.
You will still lose plating after shooting.
Plating Visibility
Each player will be able to see his own percentage of Plating Protection, but other players will only see an indicator in the profiles which ranges from None and Very Low to High.
Plating in the same city (Families/spots)
The rules related to plating inside the same city are removed, so it's no longer possible to avoid plating by shooting inside the same city.
End of plating scenario (The five phases)
Instead of removing plating entirely 48 hours after the first Godfather, we are changing it into a phase-out.
From now on, when the first Godfather of the game is known, we will start the five phases of the "fall of Plating". Every 48 hours, a level of plating will be removed from all players.
For example, all players with "Very high" plating will have it changed to "High" after 48h and "Medium" after another 48h.
Family Rankings
As we promised, we will start this round by collecting relevant information about families and their behavior. In a very near future, you will have access to a detailed ranking of families. The objective is to reward, from time to time, the highest ranked families.
The formula that defines the scoring system is being worked on, and should punish in an exemplary way, families that join large pacts. On the other hand, families that reveal the true Mafia spirit will be rewarded.
Activity: Fall too fast
We listened to feedback from our players and made some tweaks to the algorithm that defines the activity percentage.
Slight increase in Obay limits
Taking into account the information we've been collecting over the last few rounds, we decided to slightly increase the number of bullets you can purchase through Obay.
Bug Fixing
We have fixed some critical bugs in the game and are currently working hard to resolve small issues that still exist and have already been reported by players.
Once again, we ask for your cooperation: open a ticket immediately, if you discover a bug or something that is not working as it should. We continue to reward all players who help the game run smoothly.
