In Omertaland not everyone is equal. That's something we've known for a long time, but now is one of the first times that it's shown so obviously. The story :
Yesterday (13-02), the Belicoso family had set up office in New York. However when deciding on the family name, they made a mistake and typed Belicooso. Note the double 'o'.
Mistakes about stuff like this have been made in the past. The family Gueere (instead of Guerre) in 2.4 jumps to mind. However back then, in order to change a name, a family had to pay 100M. Just like it has always been, for as long as most people can remember. But it appears that this small predicament is now gone, as Belico(o)so simply went to the admins, asked a namechange and *got it*. You can argue that it was a very stupid and obvious typo, but on the other hand this is a blatant admin favour and it prooves again that not everybody is equal to omerta law.
Anyway, let's all hail the admins for removing this cumbersome waste of money. This action sets the nice precedent that if you want a namechange for your family, all you need to do is go and ask the admins. :)
And there was much rejoicing.
