Most of the posts on OBN are anonymous. Why?!
Maybe i have to point out that there is a register function at the site? We also build in an option to hide all anonymous posts (check your preferences page)
Well im curious why there are so many anonymous posts, and how we can change it. I'm open for suggestions!

Ive seen some true leaks , some shit leaks , and some very bad rumours , people use anonymous so they have no consequences in leaking,flaming, or talking bad about a member/family.

None of the above. When I first tried registering, shortly after the option was there, my browser didn't allow me to and I left it at that.
Apart from that, I think it should actually be possible to post anonymous on a site like this. If not possible, people won't post war rumours anymore (no matter if they're ridiculous or realistic), for instance, posts about obviously scripted accounts won't be made, etc. It provides some form of safety for posting statements that are necessary for the dynamics of a site like this.
I realise this takes a lot more moderating, considering e.g. the infamous racist flaming wars in the past (I can at least remember those against Kurds and Kosovars), but I think the effort is totally worth it. This also seems the right point to ask admins/mods around here to become somewhat stricter again. There are a lot of posts of the kind 'Those are just Turks. It isn't worth listening to them.' these days. Those should be deleted as well, since there are quite some people taking the corresponding message 'turks are fools' for granted, even thought it obviously is a foolish generalisation.

Besides it's entertaining to read it and you really get some drops of good information ingame with it once in a while wich no one would know if you had to show your nick and risk to be called a rat.
