Taking advantage of Iliria's weakened state after the Second Violenza War, Valahia attacks them together with Deluccio.
Valahia and Iliria were in fact allies, an agreement they had reached a few days before, after a couple days of rumours and tensions between both sides. However due to the fact that Iliria shot yet another blood of Valahia (Violenza), they saw no other option than to take Iliria down when they had the chance.
The Iliria War in numbers, based on the latest famstats (30-01) :
Brugs : 14 vs 13
Chiefs : 20 vs 8
LC's : 24 vs 20
Total bullets fired/lost : roughly 9M

bo3|bearly (Iliria top): We got shot because we killed Violenza, Provenzano and Comitanza, even though Valahia were our allies. I guess we got a lesson in not to trust your allies here.
We asked our bloods not to help us, we didn't wanna make them dishounorable families.
DolhA (Valahia top): Well in this version Iliria shot 2 bloods of ours (Moretti and SCU) then it was obvious that we are the only non-blood strong family of theirs. After some rumours about being hit we talked and agreed on being allies. The next day they shot our third blood Violenza. Their actions put us in a corner so we took action..
It's not honorable to break allies, we honestly did want to stick with it, but the next day they just killed another blood...
The war had a hard start with people from Iliria getting online and offline so we needed to make some suicides. The donna had maybe 4 attempts on her life and so did Summe. We lost a brug in the first preshoot and that demoralised us a little but after that it went fine on most of the kills.
